At this week`s meeting Robin Clapp (South West Regional Organiser for the Socialist Party) will be speaking about the current crisis of capitalism.
As a side-effect of the financial crisis, more and more people are starting to think Karl Marx was right. The great 19th Century German philosopher, economist and revolutionary believed that capitalism was radically unstable.
It had a built-in tendency to produce ever larger booms and busts, and over the longer term it was bound to destroy itself.
The meeting starts at the usual time of 7.30pm, and is taking place at Vision 21, 30 St George’s Place, Cheltenham, GL50 3JZ
St George’s Place is a sidestreet which runs down the left side of Cheltenham Central Library (situated in Clarence St)
The Vision 21 building is right behind the Library.
