SOCIALIST PARTY MEETING – “How can we show our continued opposition to austerity, cuts and racism?” – Thursday 30 June, 7.30pm, Friendship Cafe@Chequers, Painswick Road, Gloucester

We will be asking – is Britain in the grip of a reactionary backlash?  What direction will the Labour Party take – and will Jeremy Corbyn be leading the fight against austerity? How can we show our continued opposition to austerity, cuts and racism?

At a time when we should be preparing to kick out the hated Tory government, Labour MPs are publicly attacking their democratically leader in parliament and in the media.

The BBC reports ignored the 10,000 strong demo in support of Jeremy Corbyn but showed the much smaller protest the following day demanding a new referendum.

Will the Tories be kicked out – could a divided Labour Party again fail to represent the working class, youth and poorer sections of society?

HOW SHOULD SOCIALISTS RESPOND TO THE CURRENT POLITICAL CRISIS? ABOVE ALL – what concrete solidarity and support can we show?

IF YOU WANT TO FIND OUT MORE; HAVE YOUR SAY – EVEN IF YOU DISAGREE WITH OUR POSITION – COME TO OUR MEETING & TELL US WHAT YOU THINK
